I waited til last minute to book so couldn't get into the campground that was given priority over the other parks in the area so ended up at Bear Creek. I enjoyed my stay, though it was in the middle of the week so absolutely no crowds, it was wonderful!! Bear Creek looks a little rough but they got flooded out so they have good reason. I stayed at site 16 it had shade but the top to the table area got destroyed in the flood. We didn't mind though, we had a screen house. Mustang park, right around the corner, is the place to swim. The shoreline is the best of any other part of the lake, and believe me I know. My husband and I went all over the shoreline of Benbrook lake and mustang park is the best!! My two dogs loved it also!! All in all it was a good place to stay if you can't get into holiday park. The sites are spacious. There was no issues with the connections. They can stand to cut the grass. They do have restroom/showers. The people were friendly and noone bothered anyone!!
