The campground needs to be updated. Most of the nicer sites were closed due to water issues, so the campground road to the swim beach was locked closed requiring a lengthy drive if you wanted to swim. There was no grass in the area that is open. The first site was occupied by a COE employee and looked like a junk yard. there was numerous bicycles and BBQ grills all over the site. The toilet facility was unusable. The area was quiet and shaded.

Nice older COE park with a few exceptions. Only one shower usable, one door does not close, in one light did not work, and handicapped shower floods and nowhere to put towel etc. One other restroom by first loop next to a very cluttered site with lots of cars and stuff making the restroom uninviting. This is site 1 and the first thing you see as entering the park. Does not give good first impression for park.
Other bathroom in other loop locked and looked unmaintained.
Staff pleasant and nice.

This is our go-to campground. We love it so much. Large lots, GREAT hosts, beautiful/peaceful place.
They lose one star because of the four showers in the bathhouse, only one is completely usable. Two or three have no hot water. One has no light bulb. The door of one does not close so you cannot lock it. Only the "handicapped" one works completely, and it has a bench that partially extends under the shower so you cannot stand straight under the shower. Also, it floods so bad it's almost impossible to put dry clothes back on.
These conditions have existed at least since we began going to this campground 8 months ago. So - not cool. We are very grateful that at least one of the showers work properly, but how hard can it be to change a light bulb and fix the hot water heater?
Otherwise, what an excellent place to go!
