Was a very good campsite other than the fact of a lot of ants everywhere and spiders on top of had a hornet the size of my palm inside my tint when I was going to bed.

We really liked the site we had next to the water. The restrooms need some work and get hot during the day so we used them in the morning or late evening. The staff are always very polite and friendly. The city of Benbrook is close by and has plenty of fast food restaurants. If you bring your bicycles you can ride around the lake and hook up with the trinity trails which will take you to downtown Ft Worth. There is also a stable with horseback riding in Benbrook

We always have a great stay at this park. The light bulb above the shelter door is out and probably needs to be replaced.

Planned to stay overnight and leave on my way truck overheated needed to find a mechanic asked a neighbor camped next to me which he called Friday evening. Extended my stay to find out no one could help. Had to extend my day even longer the volunteers helped moved to a different camp site. My Senior Pass is well used understand that I could get a replacement at Benbrook Park from the gate attendant. Went by and inquired the attendant refused to issue a Senior Pass. Told her that that gate attendant could do that just fill out some paperwork pay a fee she still refused.
