Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

Beautiful place to camp close to Fort Worth. I run out there just for a night and love it. The new bathroom is wonderful. The others need some work.

We spent 13 days at this park, trees were down all over and at no time during our entire stay did we see anyone working on clearing the debris. We noticed several folks working the park entrance station, some were pleasant and some were extremely rude. The rude folks are probably the reason they have some many security gate arms broke.

Great stay. Lots of wildlife. Cell service is stronger the closer to the lake your spot is.

Restrooms need more attention. Out of paper, toilet did not have a seat. Campsites not well maintained.

Very sad that the lake was lower than it was last year at the same time, and that there had to be a storm that would knock out power on the first night we got there. Having said that, it was enjoyable regardless and we appreciated the Ranger's willingness to help us leave when the time came by lifting up a branch that had landed on our motorhome.
