We love camping at Holiday park at Benbrook Lake. The park is clean and well kept, if a little old. As long as the lake has water, I always have a great trip. There are 2 things that be done differently. 1-Someone could answer the phone when calling to see if we can get on our site a little early. 2-The park would allow us to get on our site a little early if it is available.
Thus seems to be COE issue because other parks will allow early arrival if the spot is open.

Overall a good clean camp ground with the exception of grass being a little overgrown the weekend we were there and the front restrooms need repairs and a remodel (rear restrooms were fairly new and clean). Would go back again.

We had a spot that had a beautiful view of the lake which I loved but we had a lot of issues leveling our 5th wheel due to our site, #85, being uphill and slanted towards the water. We ended up having to pull to the far side, almost in the grass to get the auto level to take. Most spots around us looked like they would have the same problem. Other than that, it is a beautiful park that was very quiet.

Site # 36 is a drive thru, nice ...But in full sun! We we her two nights and nights cooled down, just know many sites are tree covered, not sure you know how to gage that with high campers. This sight was across from the boat ramp so lots of action. Very nice campground folks!
