What Guests Are Saying
Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

We have been camping at Holiday in Benbrook for at least 10 years. This is the first time that we have had a bad experience. First thing was they would not let my son and his family come in the gate. They had to park outside the park. There was plenty of empty spots in visitor parking. We only had two cars for overnight. What’s the visitor parking for if not for the visitors.
Then they have two sets of restrooms under construction, understandable. But then the restroom by the gate got closed Also. So that left one restroom for the entire park, that restroom only had 1 working stall that worked. So there was always a line. Then on our final night we had a group of campers blaring loud music till at least 4 in the morning. There was also broken glass between our campsite and the lake. Like in 5-6 different areas. To be honest, I’m not sure I will be returning.

Quiet getaway from the city. Lots of shady sites, good roads, new BBQ grills. Great fishing. The camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go again!

We have stayed at this location numerous times as we have grandchildren nearby and enjoy watching them play sports. The staff is always courteous and friendly. We enjoy the wildlife in the park … deer, beautiful ducks along the shore of Benbrook Lake and numerous birds of all varieties. Best of all is my husband’s favorite…roadrunner. Our golden retrievers enjoy watching the wildlife, as well. With all the wildlife, you would think you are far from civilization but groceries, restaurants and service stations are within a few miles. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an awesome outdoor experience.

Bathhouses are old and not particularly clean. This is a problem at a park with no sewer connections. Then, halfway through our two week stay, our loop's dump station went down, and it was a 2-mile pull to the other one. On a positive note, the staff were all cordial and helpful.

Site was pretty decent. Reception was also pretty good, but we were not on our phones or computer often. We were enjoying walks and being outdoors.

Holiday Park is one of our favorite places to camp. We love that the park has so many trees, it is well maintained and each site offers its own uniqueness.

Our family reunion gathers here every year. We reserve shelters. Love the area. Nice, quiet, great for family gatherings. I rent same shelter every year. Excited to find a place that lets us gather together as a family - both campers & day visitors. I Will return & recommend it to any & all, who are looking for a wonderful camping spot.
