Nice campground. Good spacing between sites. Some have good shade. Our site required minimal leveling, but not bad. I gave the campground 5 stars, but maybe 4 is more appropriate due to ta few minor issues. The bathrooms and bath houses are in need of some serious upgrading and cleaning. I didn't use the showers, and only used the bathroom once. We were in a 5th wheel, so we had our own shower and bathroom, but if I was tent camping or otherwise had to depend on those bathrooms/showers, I probably would have moved to a different campground. The only other thing that make me scratch my head was that the dump station near the entrance wasn't level. Depending on where your waste tanks and tank drain holes are located you may or may not be able to completely drain your tanks unless you turn around and point your rig in the other direction. Also, one of the water spigots at the dump station was broken. Again, the campground itself was great and I would stay here again. It would be nice, however, if they could address the bathroom issues.

The park was in a very beautiful setting and even a great location. The maintenance of the park did not seem up to par to a lot of other army corps of engineer parks that I've been to. The people there were fantastic and treated as well.

Even with the lake so low we couldn’t get our boat in the water we still had a great time. The park was very clean however the restrooms still need refurbishing or completely rebuilt. As usual the park staff were fantastic. So sorry to hear they are leaving. What a loss to the park. Hope the new staff will be as friendly and helpful as the last ones were.
Our time was during local ISD spring break. What a great family place this park is.

Beautiful location. The park is dated and in need of a face-lift. The pavement everywhere is crumbling w/potholes filled gravel. Many pull-through sites have utilities located on the wrong side. With some much needed maintenance, this park could be a gem!

The bathrooms/showers are awful! The toilets either don’t work or leak on the floor. The showers are gross, cement floors, filthy walls.
There are not enough bathrooms for a campground that is miles long!

From Interstate 20 or 820 in southwest Fort Worth, Texas, take exit 429A for Highway 377 toward Granbury. Continue for 5.7 miles (9.2 km) and turn left on Pearl Ranch Road. Continue 2 miles east to the park entrance.

Google and Apple Maps will try to direct patrons through the entrance of North Holiday Day Use Park. The only entrance is through US Highway 377 turning on Pearl Ranch Road. Pearl Ranch Road deadends into the campground. |
