What Guests Are Saying
Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

When we got there we were assigned the site that I had booked with a 50 amp hookup. After backing in to the site which was to have been a pull through, we found that there was no 50 amp hook up. We then went back to the office and they were very gracious and put us on an emergency back in site with low hanging trees.

We were in a screen in shelter but the door wouldn't close at all. The park knew it because they had to ise 2 locks to to reach the door frame from the door. My husband worked on the door so we could shut it so noting would come through the open door. We loved our stay though.

Campsite was fine with plenty of room. Nearness to city of Benbrook very helpful. Shower facilities need updating.

Site 73 with Electric and water - the well apparently was dry - so we needed to fill the tank. The campground was full, so they did not have a spot to move us to. Quiet was on a loop with only two sites, garbage was close (at end of loop), with covered cement table. Bathrooms near our site were pit toilets - Ladies had no doors anywhere and the Men was locked. Close to Fort Worth and Dallas for our needs.

All of the restrooms/ shower blocks are absolutely disgusting.
The first block were filthy and the cubicles didn't even have doors.
The second block we tried were filthy.
The third block were really filthy, the showers didn't have heads and I couldn't see my reflection in the mirror.
We ended up leaving after 15 mins and booking the KOA nearby.
