Holiday, Texas offers a well-maintained campground with spacious sites and beautiful views of the lake, making it a great choice for nature lovers. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the abundance of wildlife, including deer and turkeys. While some facilities, like the bathrooms, could use updates and there are occasional maintenance issues, overall, guests enjoy their stays and often return for the peaceful atmosphere and convenient location near Fort Worth.

Old and dirty bathrooms. Gate locked at 10:00 pm. Garbage all over the place. Not as clean as other COE parks we have stayed in before.

Area was nice and easy to get to. Facilities are in need of serious updating. The campground had a power outage after hours and couldn't find anyone to contact inorder to find out what was going on.

We were booked at site 44 & due to the trees in the way our slides would not open . we were moved to site 31. I really appreciate the help we received. We have more trips booked out there this summer.

Always well maintained, clean and polite staff. We frequent this park and our favorite spot is site 54 (Holiday, Texas in Benbrook. However, that site is no longer bookable online. It is “X” ‘d out for as far as you search. This is one of the nicer sites in the park and we have been advised that it is now used for OVERFLOW. Please reconsider this decision and make another site that is a bit less desirable designated as overflow. We look forward to our next trip there and hopefully can book site 54. Thank you for listening

I had a an amazing location at the Holiday campsite. I had an unobstructed view of the lake, I had water and power hookups, a fire ring and I had a covered picnic table. There were a number of trees at my campsite that provided cover/shade as well. At dusk a herd of deer grazed through the site and walked down to the lake. It was awesome seeing nature up close! I even experienced a rain shower which was a welcomed event due to the drought and no fire conditions in the county at the time of my visit. Would enjoy coming back!
