What Guests Are Saying
San Augustine Park is praised for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a peaceful getaway for campers. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities, including the restrooms and showers, as well as the scenic views of Sam Rayburn Lake. Some areas for improvement include the need for additional electrical upgrades and more frequent grass maintenance, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

Good first...very quiet, beautiful and every site has views.
On the down side...this campground needs to have every site leveled. Seems it's been neglected for too long. Sad. Hope that aspect is addressed before it's too far gone and too expensive to remedy.

Our campsite was very clean. The dumpster was over flowing but the park attendant came the morning after we got there and immediately clean up what was stacked around the dumpster. The natural trail could have been cleaned up.
