What Guests Are Saying
San Augustine Park is praised for its cleanliness, friendly staff, and beautiful natural surroundings, making it a peaceful getaway for campers. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained facilities, including the restrooms and showers, as well as the scenic views of Sam Rayburn Lake. Some areas for improvement include the need for additional electrical upgrades and more frequent grass maintenance, but overall, guests express a strong desire to return.

We like the quietness at night! We are older people but our grand kids and their kids enjoy swimming, playground and just riding their bikes and walking!

Very relaxing, easy in, easy out, and if you don't feel like cooking/grilling, there is a store just outside the park that has a grill, open for breakfast, lunch & dinner that was excellent. Already book at least one more weekend in July, there will be more.

We had a good spot and it is a good park for bike riding. Did have one dog that chased us and no one said anything to him. That was concerning, but everything else was good.

It was ok. I was in number 27 and the people in 28 had tents on our side, when they had all that other room On their side. There was just enough room to back my boat In with my truck. The parking there is not adequate with that campsite.
Kids were picking our stuff up the whole week. I have to go retrieve my paddles for my kayaks from them. Kids were chasing cars and hitting campers as they went by. The parents were camped out In The 80s sites across the park. I love to see kids having a good time, but they were really bad.
