San Augustine Park is well-maintained, featuring clean restrooms and friendly caretakers who enhance the experience. Campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful views, and excellent fishing opportunities, making it a favorite destination for many. The campsite was great. Bathroom was clean. Trails are almost nonexistent and the only trail that I'm aware of appeared to be not maintained. However, being a fisherman's park, trails are probably not high on the priority list (just my assumption). The playground was nice but had no benches so there was nowhere to sit while watching the kiddos. The sunsets here are amazing! Our stay was during cool weather; I doubt that we would go here during the heat of summer because the campsite only has 30 amp service. Therefore we would not be able to run two air conditioners.

Park is showing a little wear and tear. Signs falling down and in need of repairs. Really nice park. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back.

RV sites are very uneven and makes it hard to level your RV. Need 50 amp plugs for sure

Although a very old park, we truly enjoy staying here. Our spots were right on the water and the lake and weather were beautiful!

Good first...very quiet, beautiful and every site has views.
On the down side...this campground needs to have every site leveled. Seems it's been neglected for too long. Sad. Hope that aspect is addressed before it's too far gone and too expensive to remedy.
