The nearest bathrooms were out of order and the grass around the site looked like hasn’t been mowed in weeks. Holiday weekend especially everything should be in tip top shape.

Beautiful lake views! Some spots are a little tricky to get into, but we make it work.

The least maintained USACE campground I've camped. Sites overgrow with grass and weeds. Ant hills EVERYWHERE. Bathrooms could use a cleaning as well. I doubt I'll be back as there are better maintained places on Lake O the Pines.

The campsite was great except the grass was very very tall.

Buckhorn use to be a beautiful park! Now it’s not! Grass is not mowed and the weeds/grass was horrible!! The site was not clean and the fire pit was filled with cigarette butts! What’s happened?? We have stayed there several times, but if not cleaned up we will go elsewhere!

Grass was tall and not mowed in quite a while. The boat dock was moved off the landing. This was very unsafe. There are no lines for boat trailer parking. People park all different directions.

Obviously they don't want tent campers in this park. Substandard maintenance for tent campers.

Grounds were in bad shape. Grass was ankle to knee high. Grounds were not well kept. No range enforcement of rules and regulations. More than two vehicles in a campground cars parked on grass boats on grass trailers on grass, etc. very pathetic enforcement of the core of engineers, rules and laws.

The grounds had not been mowed. They started mowing them on Sunday before we left. This may have been due to a Google review I posted about the trash in the campground, the unmown grass, and the buzzards everywhere getting the trash. When we first arrived, the 50 amp electric didn't work. We reported it and it was fixed the next day. We weren't told of the fix, I realized the clocks had to be reset and went out to find the 30 to 50 amp adapter laying on top of the panel. We were not impressed at all. We do not plan to return there. We may try Brushy Creek next time
