This campground was quite good. The campsites were level (most I've been to aren't) and had everything I needed. Electrical, water, sewage, fire ring, picnic table and very friendly hosts. The last thing being the most important. I talked to a couple of them and they were more than eager to help me out. I'll definitely come back this way and stay again.

We had a wonderful experience at Johnsons Creek. We camped in a tent on a nice camp site that had electric and water. The Ants were really bad so you have to make sure you have nothing left out on the tables or on the ground. I would suggest bringing ant killer to spray around the table. We were also in a drought, so that didn't help either. There was plenty enough shade and the air coming off of the lake was cool. The camp sites are a little to close in my opinion, but everyone was nice. The bathrooms are nice. There is AC and Hot water. Very clean. The lake was very clean and cool, even though it was a 100+ degrees outside. Very nice nature trails as well, best to walk early in the morning. We will certainly go again.

Beautiful campground and park! Sites in R2 are asphalt with concrete patio areas (picnic table and fire ring/ bbq pit combo). Level site when we pulled up in line with patio area. Lots of trees throughout the park. Beautiful lake view!! For those with dogs, you do get a workout because of the hilly terrain.
