Great experience. Campground was clean and sites were manageable. Enjoyed our view of the lake and the deer roaming the grounds.

We had an amzing time and the park was well maintained. The ony issue we had was the 10 PM quiet time was not enforced and we had two campsites in front of us who choose to play their music most of day and into the night quite loud.

So disappointed with our stay at Johnson Creek/Lake O the Pines. The lack of upkeep and the rude gate attendants this year on our vacation were just enough to make us not want to come back. Over 30 years of family vacation memories there, but we will go somewhere else next year.

It was one of our most enjoyable stays at Johnson Creek. There was a breeze every day the first few days we were there which was nice when we and friends sat around visiting.
One funny story. There was a bird that loved to sing at night. All night. It woke me up at 2:00 AM one morning and 4:00 AM one morning. My niece and family were parked in the lot we had for July 4th. I warned her about the bird. Sure enough she texted me that the bird was still singing during the night. LOL
The park attendants were wonderful. Very nice.
We hope to return when the weather cools down.
