What Guests Are Saying
Plowman Creek is highly praised for its excellent condition, peaceful atmosphere, and friendly camp hosts. Campers appreciate the spacious, well-maintained sites with easy access to water and electricity, along with beautiful scenery and clean facilities. AT&T works great, the campsites are nice and spacey and its very quite, beautiful views. I loved the covered pavilions and tables at each site. The restrooms were decently clean, not regularly maintained (take TP with you just in case) and the toilets sit up very high for short people and kids. But other than that, it is a great place to relax, fish, and enjoy family time.

A beautiful treed park right by the river. Large sites, very friendly park host, a hike and bike trail head in the park. Within 5 miles of a small grocery store for those forgotten items.

We camped in a tent late in the season so it was quite cold but once we got the fire going it was so beautiful and peaceful. The restrooms were clean and campsites were all well kept. We will definitely be returning to Lake Whitney with our kayaks.
