Pads are unlevel and torn up. Sad to see this campground with so much potential deteriorating

The roads and sites are pretty narrow and could definitely use work. The sewer is behind the site (4) and you will probably need an extension in order to reach it from your holding tanks, depending on their location.
However, the camp hosts were kind and friendly, the area did not have many mature trees but many smaller trees so time will likely help that. My grandsons, 9 & 7 loved the wide open space and the shoreline. Oh and the sunsets over the lake are NOT to be missed!

Staff was very friendly, restrooms were clean and the park has beautiful lake views and rolling hills. Many of the sites are not level front to back and/or side to side, I was unable to level my trailer front to back as I didn't have a tongue jack block high enough.

Nice location. Sights are not level. Even using all of our blocks and trying three sights we were unable to level completely.

We loved how big the sites were and it was quiet other than the train a couple times a day

Beautiful park on Lavon Lake, but the facilities could use a facelift. (I guess funds are tight all-over!) The guard station people were very nice and did their job well. The park felt safe, even though it was only a few miles outside of the city of Wyle. Water and electric all worked fine. If you have a long RV you may wish to ask which pads are reasonably level. Some have so much incline that a long RV would not be able to level properly. (We saw someone try a pad, only to leave due to their inability to level their Class C motorhome.

View of the lake and sunset was beautiful. Sites weren’t level and roads into park were in disrepair. Staff was friendly and helpful. About 1/4 of the sites were closed due to disrepair. Bath houses were usually clean with plenty of hot water. Hope you like trains.
