Campsites were too narrow, not level, not maintained and a falling hazard when getting out of the trailer. The road in front of our site had a very deep hole that was unavoidable in going into and out of the site. There was no printed information regarding the park or other areas that could be used. The grills were rusty and falling apart,. The boards on the grill table were severely rotted. We have stayed at many rec.gov sites all were very nice except this one. We would not recommend the Lavonia Park for camping.

Site pads and roadways need some repairs. Sites are not level and roadways need patching. Great spacing between sites and great views from most. Would come back again and spend more time.

This was my first time camping at lake Lavonia. We tent camped at site 13, definitely one of the best views of the lake. The camp sites were spacious, showers were very clean, and cellphone service was great.

We were assigned site #21. The pad was so steep that we could not level the motor home even with the blocks that we carry. We asked if we could move to another site and were told that the park was full and no spaces were available. It was late so we just toughed it out. In the morning we noticed three empty spots not far from us. We had booked two nights but only stayed one. We like Corp of Engineers parks and the grounds here were very nice.

Site 37, BLOO
This site is ridiculously unlevel. We could not get our travel trailer to be level. It would've taken a getting the jack (already perched on blocks) dangerously high. We lived with it for the two nights. Water was fine, electric was fine, sewage was fine. We used the fire pit and the picnic table. Location was good, short walk to lake. Lots of room around us, son came and pitched his tent behind us. No one behind us, just a big unlevel field. Lavonia is the worst park for leveling. Or second time here because it was only site with spots available. The good spots are taken by long term campers. Except for the leveling it would be a 4-5 start site.

Wonderful family time! Clean restrooms, polite neighbors, and sweet Mrs. Hamilton was so kind! We'll be back!

Great stay! Loved the view and everyone was friendly. Dog feces from previous campers were the only downsides to staying here. Was able to stream online to teach with no issues.
