What Guests Are Saying
Union Grove is a beautifully maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and stunning views of the lake. Visitors appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the clean restroom facilities. While some sites may be unlevel and there were minor cleanliness issues, overall experiences are positive, and many plan to return.

We rented a screen shelter and have done so for many years. We were disappointed to see that the tarps that are used to cover the windows were torn to shreds or missing. They used to have nice thick working tarps to cover the screens. The shelters are booked year round which means there should be an ample amount of funds for upkeep of tarps. I’m disappointed that they can’t spend a small amount of what they make to make sure we got what you pay for. I will say the man that runs the park is nice and the bathrooms are clean and showers are hot.

Very nice and all the spaces have water views and they are not too close together. No one is at the gate so make sure you have the gate code to get in and they give the gate code to you when you reserve. The restrooms were kept clean. We walked and saw the deer. This is close to home so we will go back. It is hard to get a space for the weekend but we are retired so we can go on the week days.

Was planning a full weekend but due to the weather on Friday, we made it a 1 day (Saturday) outing. A windy day, but still enjoyed the stay. Area 31 is an ideal spot. Close to the lake and the clean restroom. We did not put up our tents this time, but the site is a tad slanted. But I think it's manageable. The electricity worked like a charm! Only gave it 4 stars on the count of we caught no fish this day! :) We will be back!

Park facilities and campground were clean & well kept. A favorite campground; I’d return in future camping trips.

We usually rate our experience as excellent, and love the park. It seems that since things have been on a 'skeleton' staff with nobody at the front gate, less facility maintenance, etc., it's just not quite as nice. If your phone battery is dead, you can't get the code to get your RV in, and that's not as great as having someone there to be sure you got in. The bathrooms have definitely taken a turn for the worst. This trip they were unclean, and the latch to the men's toilet stall was broken. We enjoy taking locals and out-of-towners here to enjoy the RV and boat, but so much preferred the genuine customer service provided by someone in the office. Joe is great and does the best he can, but having someone 'man' the booth seems only fair, since the park is so frequently booked and generating revenue. Thank you for hearing us out on this! We haven't given up, as we have 2-3 more scheduled for this summer and hope to do more...............
