What Guests Are Saying
Union Grove is a beautifully maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and stunning views of the lake. Visitors appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the clean restroom facilities. While some sites may be unlevel and there were minor cleanliness issues, overall experiences are positive, and many plan to return.

The campground was great, the campsites were far apart and we were impressed, we’ll be back!! We were on 25, great view of the lake, close to Harker Heights, for groceries! Only one bad thing, the dump station was overflowing and we could dump when we left!

This place is amazing. Lots of space between our campsites, quiet, clean and beautiful sunsets over the lake. Will definitely be back

Union Grove is an excellent place to stay for several days. The staff was friendly and helpful. Restrooms clean. Dumpsters close by. Nice swimming enclosure. Spectacular views. Close to town. Plenty of wildlife. Would stay here again.

The party that reserved our spot for the day we checked out showed up 4 hours prior to check out, questioned what time we would be leaving and sent the on-site park representative to check on us every 20 minutes following that. It was absolutely miserable and that’s not taking into account that the park rep was only wearing overalls at 300+ lbs with not clothes underneath. If we didn’t live 10 minutes away, I can promise we would never be back. My children an mother were absolutely appalled by his attire, or lack there of, and requested that we not camp there again. Beyond disgusting and repulsive and incredibly aggravating to be harassed while using the spot you paid to occupy.

The Union Grove Park was a great experience and the lake was peaceful and beautiful. Site was well maintained and power and water were dependable. Only dis appointment was that the power to the restroom / shower facilities was not on during my visit. Campground host was very helpful and stopped to visit on several occasions. Great place to "get away" for a weekend.

Our camp site was excellent, however enforcement of park regulations was generally lacking. In the past, dog leash requirements were strictly enforced, but during this visit numerous dogs were allowed to run loose constantly. While walking my dog on a leash, we were accosted by a large German Shepherd whose owner was rude and confrontational when reminded of the leash requirement. Also, restrictions on parking in "designated areas only" were totally unenforced. Numerous vehicles were parked in grassy areas. No COE rangers were seen during our 3-day stay.

park is in poor shape. had not been mowed in a couple of weeks. lots of undoctored ant piles. pavilions not cleaned up lots of spider webs all over pavilions bird droppings on benches and tables. I have been on same site (10) for the three major holidays for last 15 years or so, been going to Union Grove for over 20 years and this is the absolute worst I have ever seen this park. No one manning the gate to get info from, check in or out, double booking sites. This is terrible!!!!!!!!!
