Union Grove is a beautifully maintained campground with spacious, clean sites and stunning views of the lake. Visitors appreciate the attentive and friendly staff, as well as the clean restroom facilities. Would be a lot better if had people at gate to oversee the park. Enforcement of check out time and lease rules. 14 day limit at park.

First day, loud and vulgar guests nearby scared grandkids. If that were not enough, reservation personnel mistakingly assigned us site 8 at another facility causing a belligerent drunk to confront my wife and yell at her to get out of the site. Camp host was no help. He did not want to hear it he just stated get out, go to other facility. All the while, we were packing up. Had to call authorities due to host calling rangers and not helping deescalate belligerent guest.

The view was perfect , and the area was clean. However, I had expected for all of the windows to have tarps on them. But only 3 had them, we needed to still pitch are tent cause the night was to cold.

The sites are close to the water but the grass is over grown and the fire pits are dirty. The nice gravel area is becoming over run with weeds. We had to weed eat our own gravel area. Definitely could be kept up better.

Trees on the road need triming really bad, branches were too low and scratched my fifth wheel. Gates need to be a bit wider for big fifth wheels and motor homes.

It was a nice quiet peaceful couple days. Clean everything was kept up, beautiful lake views.

The boat ramp and fishing pier are open to campers, passs holders and anyone who purchases a day pass. Day passes can be purchased using the QR code signs found in the park. |
