The sites were spacious and well maintained. If there is a downside to this campground it would be the lack of shade. We were there in the winter so it was not a factor for us but I’m sure in the dog days of summer it would be something to take into consideration. The park host was very friendly and helpful. It was a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

A beautiful time with our little camper crew. The view and location were just right, almost making us feel as if we were lakeside somewhere in Italy. The bathrooms were so clean. I felt very good and happy to be there at site 5.

This is a nice quiet park with a great view of the lake from every site. The park host/COE employees were friendly and very helpful.

Only one loop was open during our stay, so it was super quiet. Lots of deer. Didn’t have much luck fishing but could see the small fish (5inches) under the pier with the water being so clear.
Park was really clean along with the RR. If you forget anything, Walmart and H-E-B are about 15min away.

One of the top parks we have used. Management welcomed use upon arrival, daily they would come and check on us. All park facilities clean and ready for use. Family had a great time, even caught a few fish. I highly recommend Union Grove Park, enjoy.

CAMPERS: There is no gate attendant at this park. Please check your confirmation email from Recreation.gov for the camper gate code to enter the campground. |
