The campground has a lot of potential. It’s a beautiful spot with a lot of wildlife and waterfront access. Things are feeling rough though. The pavilions looked nice in pictures but were not nearly as nice in person. They’re due for some rust mitigation, repair and paint. The roofs are beat up along the edges.
The dump station is one of the worst I’ve experienced and the bathrooms were at least clean, but where’s the soap? Gross. The dump station positions the inlet almost on the same level with the outlet of many trailers and meant that my dump hose sat on the ground about 12 inches below where it entered the dump inlet. This made a mess while trying to dump and it clearly had for many others as well. One of the most poorly planned dump stations I’ve ever seen.
Another complaint is the lack of foot trails around the lake. I guess it’s not a state or city park, but it’s a pretty area and campers and visitors could really enjoy it more with somewhere to walk besides the roads.

We got kicked out the campground due to flooding water and the grass is so tall and lots of broken tree limbs.
