Site #30 needs help, it's very high and there is a very little area flat enough for any vehicle.

Nice park, could use a little updating. Would be nice if the RV pads were level and were poured concrete and the ones with metal roof covers over the tables are to close to the RV pad. Nice peaceful park, friendly attendants and lots of deer around. We camp there often since we are local to the area, highly recommend.

Got there after dark with no reservations. No problem. Just found an open spot right on the lake and reserved I’d online. Done! Nice park!

Loved the scenery. Easy to back into spot. Clean facility. Friendly staff. Several types of wildlife to see. Fishing close by. Loved seeing the airplanes fly over. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at an RV park in Waco, Texas, and Lake Waco was our backyard! It was a beautiful park, tucked back away from the city, with stunning views of the lake and nature. Our trailer had the lake behind it, and there were grills, picnic tables, and fire pits with firewood at each spot. There were also hundreds of deer everywhere. We’d look outside, and deer would be right beside our trailer.
We had electric and water hookups, no sewer, but they had very spacious and convenient dumping stations. They also had shower rooms, which was nice. I loved how peaceful and beautiful this park was. Everyone was so kind, and I will come back to this park. We stayed in spot #2, which I highly recommend! Plus, the park is only about 10-15 minutes from Waco!

Sunset was behind us but lake view was awesome. Lots of deer. Quiet and relaxing, a good amount of space between some of the sites.

We have been camping at this park for well over 14 years and have always appreciated the amazing onsite volunteers and gate attendants—they are GREAT! However, the cleanliness and upkeep of the park have noticeably declined over the past few years.
The campsites are no longer cleaned thoroughly after each use, such as pressure-washing awnings, cleaning picnic tables, BBQ pits, fire pits, and so on. In the past, there were a couple of ladies who cleaned the park daily, and they did an AMAZING job! Unfortunately, we rarely see the service company now, and when they do show up, they often just 'rake' the gravel at the sites without doing any actual cleaning. Additionally, the grounds are only mowed a few times a year. And each site desperately needs a coat of paint on the awning.
This park used to be exceptionally well-maintained, and it’s disappointing to see the standards decline.
So, be sure to bring your cleaning supplies, insect spray to use in the grass/awning areas, and a broom to clear away the spider webs. Once you're all set, sit back, relax and enjoy the company of the campers around you!
