Great spot. Really glad we chose here over other parks. Love Nancy and got to meet the owner. Unfortunate to pick up dog poop when I don’t own a dog so my kids could play in our vicinity. Close to stores and restaurants near by places deliver. Cool club house and Nancy put bluey on for my kids to watch. Would book again if in the area. We booked here to go to Santa’s wonderland.east commute.

We were the only tent campers present while visiting. Loved the large lots, the covered patio area, the view of the lake, the herd of deer, the peace and quiet…and especially the electric hookup. Camped with a five month old; the heater was most enjoyable when the temps dipped into the 30s. We visited Magnolia, Homestead Heritage, Vally Mills, and Clifton: each location offered its own experience…shopping, history, and good eats. Conveniently located between each of the towns and not too far from stores in order to get supplies. We’ve already been planning our return visit!

We left quite early, though the park was not to blame. Our air mattress broke, and we discovered that we can no longer sleep on a concrete floor with just a sleeping bag. That said, the park seemed very attractive, although we didn't get to explore it all. Our shelter was very open and breezy -- great for summer, but not so much in late November with a 20 mph north wind blasting across the lake. It was also a bit annoying that we couldn't lock the shelter unless we were inside; we were not given a key, and there is no hasp on the door. But otherwise, everything was fine. The campground looked great, and the restrooms were clean and in good condition.

Great park. Good location by Lake Waco. Level paved parking. Lots of space per RV spot. Quiet. Beautiful area. Saw deer and a live armadillo! Great cell service. 5 bars on IPhone. Don’t know about bathroom facilities. Will use the park again.
