A slice of Heaven! Beautiful Park. Well maintained. Friendly and helpful host. There are no bad camp sights as all are spacious and far enough away from your camp neighbor to feel cozy in your own spot. We enjoyed our visit at this park. The only recommendation I have is don't believe your phone GPS - continue down the road a bit farther from where it tells you to turn - you will recognize the entry from the photos on this website. We and our guests ended up at another nearby park on the first try.
If you plan on dinning in Waco be sure to check out Jake's Texas Tea House for wonderful Retro atmosphere and great food.

We have been to Speegleville Park several times in the past few years, and I have to say that this was our best experience of all, As compared to the previous visits there, the park was clean, the grass mowed, and bathrooms were spotless! We don't know who the current management is, but they are doing a great job !

This is a great campground and we had a wonderful site right on the lake. It was easy in and out. We had a shade over the picnic table. Would definitely stay here again!

We have stayed at this park several times and always enjoy the level, well-maintained sites, that are far enough apart that you feel private.

Campground was never cleaned. When we moved to the next site that had been vacant fir two days it wasn’t cleaned either.

Beautiful, quiet park. Lots of trees for your hammock and just steps to rolling lawns leading to lake. Need a boat to catch anything other than perch, but very relaxing anyway. Deer, ducks, birds. Nicely maintained by friendly staff.
