A beautifull campground near the river site. Close to the Dinosaur Quarry. We reserved a B loop site but loop C offered more shady places. The attandant made us aware of this. Great service. We enjoyed a nice swim to cool down in the Green River surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Very very nice. Beautiful location with access to Green River for swimming. Close to drop off point for many rafting experiences (1 mile walk).
Note that some sites with lower numbers are very exposed, and others are very close to other campers. So choose carefully.

Really nice area by the river with a lovely view, campground had great amenities. the space was fine with table and fire on a flat area. We had a lot of chipmunks visiting (although we didn't give them any food they hung around). Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Well located to visit the park. We enjoyed our stay there especially when we went to put put our feet in the river before sunset in a little creek made from stones.

Camp Host came by and asked our neighboring camper in a van to turn off their generator after 9 pm. Thank you! We hate the sound of generators and loved being able to hear the wind and insects following the host swinging by. We are so appreciative.

The campsite is very convenient for staying within Dinosaur National Monument and we greatly appreciated the evening lead ranger talks. We attended two early evening sessions overlooking the river and one night time star event. While the rangers were incredible, the campsite is in need of some TLC. The bathrooms needed a deep clean and painting and the campsites felt over grown and on top of each other. Lastly, the monument should consider adding a dump site as well as electrical. While the electrical infrastructure would be expensive, it would reduce the hum of RVs running their generators to drive air conditioning to beat the heat.

Huge thank you to the camp host that swung by and had the van camper next to our site turn off their generator at 9 PM. We had no idea that was a rule and were super impressed the camp host kept knocking on the camper van until they finally opened up and acknowledged the issue.
Thank you for a peaceful evening listening to the breeze through the cottonwoods while the stars shone brightly.

It would be nice to see the river when you book a riverfront site, and not to have to Bushwack your way down

Campsite was right by the river as shown on the maps, great night sky views and sounds. We actually had a bit of trouble sleeping due to the amazing night sky and spotting satellites! Host was very nice and gave some good tips. Campground side of the river has shallow and slow moving water but halfway out the current is strong so watch any kids at play. No showers but does have bathrooms. The campsite worked perfectly for us.

It was hot - very hot - there the night we spent at Green River. We had site #5 reserved but the host allowed us to move to #24 which was not reserved that night. #24 has a lot more shade. The water was good the toilet was clean. We strolled north on the river trail about .5 miles and the views are awesome.

Super cute, but super out in the open with the sun, I recommend bringing a canopy! My man and i got there around 6 and we were dying. But past that, it was such a fun camping trip!
