While the weather was all over the place, this campground was great. It is close to the Quarry Visitors center and the Quarry exhibit. The restrooms were clean and maintained. The camp host, Megan, was very helpful and friendly.
I highly recommend the Sounds of Silence trail, but it is more advanced than it would seem at the beginning. Wear sturdy boots! If the weather was better, I would have combined it with the Desert Voices trail. Bring a $1 for the trail guide, or buy one at the Visitors Center--it was worth it.

Absolutely loved my time at this campground. Loved the location and great views. It was a quick drive up to the Visitor Center to take the shuttle to the Quarry. I wound up spending most of my day over on the Colorado side of the monument, doing the hikes in the canyons region of the park. That area is about a 30 minute drive from the green river campground, so I found it best to make a day of it there, then come back to Green River for dinner and to settle in for the night.

Nice campground right on the Green River. Dry camping but the restrooms had water and were fine.

First time at Dinosaur National Monument and definitely will be back. Our spot was not the best, the tent area was not very flat and had quite a few big rocks so we moved our tent next the fire pit since there was a fire ban in place and we werent going to use it. It was a hot overcast day when we got there but the evening was perfect weather wise. We headed to spot 77 that had a walking trail to the river next to the campsite. We stayed there until sunset and enjoyed the warm breeze amazing. Recommend heading to a spot that is driving distance from the campsite that has a sandy beach area were you can get into the river. That spot was great and it was quite with no one around when we were there. Ask the camp site host for directions to the sandy beach area to get there. Huge shout out to Megan the camp host she was very helpful and very nice. So much to do in this area plan out your days to make the most of it.

Campground was beautiful with pretty sights everywhere. There is a little swimming spot with a beach. Bathrooms were super clean and the ranger was very nice!

One of my most favorite places on earth! Rangers on duty are super helpful. Kids walked down to the river from our campsite. I didn’t want to leave...

Getting a spot next to the river feels 10-15 degrees cooler than the center spots. It was great for tenting. We spent a lot of the afternoons playng on the edge of the river. On the trail between the camp grounds we saw as many as 6 deer in the morning have a drink in the river. It was really beautiful.
