This is a great campground, scenic, plenty of shade and access to lots of trails. This is my favorite part of Canyonlands. The only issue, which isn't really anyones fault, there were fire ant hills all around the area where you would pitch a tent. Thankfully we had a trailer so it wasn't an issue. Will definitely be back.

Campsite was very clean and had a cave for us to climb into to get out of the summer heat for a while. Easy trail access with views of the needles. Very remote and quiet compared to the side of canyonlands that you access closer to Moab.

Wonderful campground with sites nestled up against the rock formations and a variety of excellent hiking loops starting and ending right at the campground.
Campground facilities were in good condition and very clean. Maintenance staff at this park keep the facilities well serviced and seem to take pride in their work.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the Needles District of Canyonlands. Our campsite was great. We were surprised at the quality of the restrooms at the campgrounds and the Visitor Center which had been built since we were there last. We have a number of interactions with NPS rangers and they were all positive. We came to the Needles district to undertake a number of hikes and we loved what we did and saw.

We loved our stay at canyonlands. The camp host was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean and the site was very well taken care of. Loved the night sky presentation by the rangers at the auditorium. Thanks for making our stay wonderful. PS, we loved canyonlands about ten times more than arches. And site 21 was awesome

Good location if you are a hiker, if you are not into hiking there isn't too much else here, and it is in the part of the park that is a bit away from everything else (1 1/2 to 2 hours driving) at Canyonlands, Arches, and Moab. It worked for what I was looking for.
