Great campsites in the chesler park area of canyonlands. Pack in water, only one option nearby in spring it usually has water. Leave no trace.

The campsites are set in an incredible landscape, they are well spaced, and all of the facilities are in perfect condition. Further, the rangers, camp hosts, and other park personnel are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Amazing scenery.
A lot of the hikes might be on the longer side for many people (10+ miles), so be prepared.
Campsite was perfect.

My site was great; level and private. I did pass by some that did not seem as good. The restroom was clean though there was no light so you needed a flashlight while using it.

Loved everything about this campground. Very remote, clean, quiet, dark and spectacular scenery all around. Great hikes nearby. Not a crowded park like so many others. Definitely worth the long drive to get here. No stores after Moab. Bring everything you need. Site 20 was awesome. 3 tent pads and a very nice metal picnic table. Loved the informative ranger talks and the spectacular views from the small amphitheater.

More than I expected in a good way. Chester Park, Joint Trail to Druid Arch was unbelievable. Such diversity in one hike. Lost Canyon adds another dimension to the park, with part of this hike in the trees.

I love the Needles and these campgrounds are the best! The rangers at the visitor's center were amazing and kept the campground clean.

Very very awesome nature but the drive is very long with the section of road in between moab and Monticello being closed!
