Nice shaded spots that are not on top of each other. The location is good to access the trails in the area.

Excellent location walkable to Monicello Lake. Sites are spacious and well kept and vault toilets were very clean. Aspens surround every site. Highly recommend!

Wonderful tent site at the far end of the campground. The main loop was full with a very large extended group/family but I had the small loop all to myself. Warning that there are only two pit toilets for the campground and both are a hike from this site.

This was just an over night stop for us but it was beautiful. Great place to escape the heat. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll be back.

This campground is in the Aspens of Utah. It was nice to sit and watch the Aspens quake in the morning and evening and there are a lot of deer milling around then too. I would call it a meditation campground and I don't normally do much of that. Also the East entrance to the Canyonlands is very close by making this place an excellent spot for a day trip there....

While Arches and Canyonlands were in the 90's, Buckboard was nice and cool, low 80's at the highest. The campsite was quiet and lots of space.
