Absolutely gorgeous campground with aspens and deers.

The driveway is a bit bumpy, but very doable.

Buckboard was awesome! The camp was super clean. The campsites were spaced out nicely. This was our base camp for Arches and Canyonlands. It was much cooler than camping in the Moab area. The drive was 50 mins to Arches and 1.5 hour drive to Canyonlands.

Very quiet, lovely campground, easy to get to. The short dirt road into the campground was no problem for our Prius. Negatives, were that although we indicated we were tent camping, the spot we had did not have a place for a tent, besides the gravel pull-in, so we had to set up our tent on the bumpy gravel. It seems like most of the spots are set up for RVs rather than tents. Our neighbor RV-user used his generator outside quiet hours, which was super-annoying, as otherwise the campground was very peaceful.

Positives, nice cool weather, clean restrooms, running water. Would like to return in the fall when the aspens are changing color.

Wonderful campground. Good separation between campsites, well maintained, easily accessible to many other attractions and national parks. At 8,700 feet, it was much cooler than the lower elevations around us in Utah. We had deer that frequently visited the campsite. We would definitely camp there again.

It was a nice surprise to find so much cut firewood stacked at the campsite!

Great little campground. Aspen meadow with plenty of wildflowers and wildlife. The deer and turkeys strolled through our site often. We are in site one, I was able to get my 30ft class C in and fairly level. A few other sites would accommodate this size, but not much larger. Clean well supplied pit toilets.

Teddy Roosevelt would be happy, 2 large groups of kids were here last night. They were laughing and playing and none were looking at their phones. It was good to see

This was a very nice campground! Close to Canyonlands National Park but not as crowded as other nearby campsites, it was the perfect mix of both worlds. It's also higher up in elevation so cooler at night than down in Canyonlands.

It is difficult to know what a campground will be like if you have never been there. We were unsure about the location and condition of this campground when we booked it. All other campgrounds close to Arches National Park and Moab were booked so we went farther away and found this one. We were so amazed when we arrived. It was absolutely beautiful. Shaded by aspen trees that were just turning color with clean and well kept toilets and fresh water availability. If you are going to Canyonlands National Park (South) this is the perfect place to stay especially if you are traveling South after your visit to Canyonlands or Arches. Thank you to the Forest Service for this little gem.
