Buckboard Campground offers a beautiful, quiet setting with spacious, shaded sites and excellent access to nearby trails and attractions like Canyonlands National Park. This was just an over night stop for us but it was beautiful. Great place to escape the heat. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We’ll be back.

This campground is in the Aspens of Utah. It was nice to sit and watch the Aspens quake in the morning and evening and there are a lot of deer milling around then too. I would call it a meditation campground and I don't normally do much of that. Also the East entrance to the Canyonlands is very close by making this place an excellent spot for a day trip there....

While Arches and Canyonlands were in the 90's, Buckboard was nice and cool, low 80's at the highest. The campsite was quiet and lots of space.

This campground is high in elevation and can get very cold. Be prepared. Bring your own water.

This is a great tent site! We had four deer visit our site when we arrived. We had plenty of privacy from both adjacent sites. Hosts drove through in the morning and were very friendly. Bathrooms were spotless! Be careful of cattle in the road driving up the mountain.
