What Guests Are Saying
Buckboard campground offers a beautiful and peaceful setting, surrounded by aspens and wildlife, making it a great escape from the heat. The sites are spacious, well-maintained, and provide excellent access to nearby trails and Canyonlands National Park. While there are limited restroom facilities and cold temperatures at night, the overall experience is enhanced by clean amenities and a friendly atmosphere, making it highly recommended for future visits.

Campground was great for what it is. We had some noisy group campers the first night. The were quiet the other night. The stars were fantastic. We live in a city and we arrived after dark. It was completely pitch black. I couldn't even see my hand in front of me. You could see everything. It was amazing. It just has pit toilets and water spickets. We only stayed a couple nights so if you plan on wanting to shower and clean up you will need to figure that out. We paid for showers in Moab koa as we were there to see arches and canyonlands.

Facilities were clean and well maintained. Forest Service staff were doing some work around the campground during our stay. Campers were quiet and respectful. Even with a larger group in the South Group campsite, noise was not a problem. We found it to be very relaxing.

Beautiful campground. Very quiet. Temperatures were about 65 at night (mid-July) - a much appreciated contrast to the 100+ degree weather in Moab.

Amazing hidden campground and RV park. sites are not level and gravel doesn't make for good tents. location and solitude make up for it. Deer were next to campers evening and morning.
