What Guests Are Saying
The campground at Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon offers beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and well-maintained sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, great hiking options, and clean facilities, despite some complaints about the restroom situation and water availability. While there have been issues with locked bathrooms and high traffic on weekends, overall experiences highlight the campground's charm and natural beauty.

I wanted to rate it 5 stars, but the grill was rusted and bent so we propane’s it all weekend. Everything else was excellent though. The yurt was great, the location was great too. Spent a weekend away in the mountains and we all loved it.

This is some water available. Nice flush toilets if you were expecting vault toilets. A lot of campsites do not have level ground besides the parking space.

The site #40 was in a good location. The tent site was secluded from the road.
