What Guests Are Saying
The campground at Spruces in Big Cottonwood Canyon offers beautiful scenery, friendly staff, and well-maintained sites, making it a popular choice for campers. Many visitors appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, great hiking options, and clean facilities, despite some complaints about the restroom situation and water availability. While there have been issues with locked bathrooms and high traffic on weekends, overall experiences highlight the campground's charm and natural beauty.

The campground was great. Very lovely setting, lots of trees, cooler temperatures. We were in campsite 80, though, which was listed as a RV/Trailer appropriate site. The campsite was not a back in site, not a pull through site, just a widening of the road on the left side with a painted line and the number 80. Being on the left side of a one-way road, the door of the trailer opens to the road instead of toward the picnic table and fire ring. It would be fine for a tent-only site but it shouldn't be listed as a Trailer site. In my opinion and having walked through the campground, site 80 is the worst site of the entire campground.

Could use a little repair from years of use. Beautiful spot.
