Overall, this a great campground. The staff in the office were very friendly and helpful. The campsites are nice- you're definitely close to your neighbor, but that's just how it's going to be in campgrounds like this. This campground has everything you need and is in a great location. I would very much recommend this campground.

Went for a long hike on the Mathews Arm trail, made meals over the fire, and had a nice slumber! Would recommend for a weekend getaway.

The Rangers are very welcoming and super helpful. We had some obnoxiously loud neighbors, but the rangers handled the situation well. The campsite is in a super great destination for hikes and backpacking excursions, so it acts as a great home base.

The campground was in good overall shape. I really appreciate the rustic nature of the campground. It sometimes seems as if you guys want to convert every park into a mini Disney World!please don't try to "improve" it by ruining it!

Great time. The park ranger even helped us jump start our car when it wouldn’t start

I love Shenandoah. The campsite is close enough to D.C. to make it an easy trip down! Friendly people and beautiful land make this campsite great! I'm already planning my trip back.
