I had a great camping experience at Cave mountain lake campground. Large campsites in an incredible setting. A very nice stream ran through the campground.
The bathrooms were large and well lighted. And they were immaculate! Hot, hot showers in a nice, clean private shower room.
Easy access to Natural Bridge, several small towns and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
There were lots of places to buy camp firewood at a very reasonable price.
The campground hosts were friendly and respected your privacy.
I would definitely camp here again. I highly recommend cave mountain lake campground.

This is a great campground. Had all the amenities I needed for the purpose intended. Clean washroom, private showers. Very near Natural Bridge, Virginia. I'd like to see more of these!

This was a wonderful campground. The site I stayed at felt completely secluded, even tho it was in the middle of the camp. The restrooms were spotless. The lake was so nice for an evening swim. I even had a doe walk through my campsite. I will definitely stay here again.

My wife and I grew up camping at Cave Mt. Lake back in the 60's $ 70's.. Though we didn't know each other at that time, when we became friends 15 years ago we learned that back then we were there at the same time. My parents kept a camper there all summer long at the end of the loop. so for the past 3 years we have been making plans but didn't work out, until this year we got to make our trip. we stayed 7 days and it was absolutely the best time. some changes have been made with the bath house and updated rest rooms, but the camp sites are still mostly the same as we remember and we were able to pick our site that she always stayed in and we talked of our child hood memories there when we were so young. Now in our middle sixties it was a great feeling to live those once again and to share with the one you love. We are planning one more trip here before the end of the season and so look forward to the fall colors. This is our place. Love it at Cave Mt. Lake.
