What Guests Are Saying
Haag Cove Campground offers a peaceful and clean environment, surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines and abundant wildlife, making it ideal for quiet retreats and paddling. While there are some limitations, such as no potable water and occasional disturbances from other campers, the serene atmosphere and stunning views are highlights. Some visitors noted issues with oversight and amenities, but many expressed a desire to return for the natural beauty and tranquility.

We go camping every 4th of July to campgrounds that do not allow fireworks as we have a dog that is horrified of the sound and light they put off. We have visited Haag Cover many times and love this hidden gem, but this was our first 4th there. Not impressed, as there were a ton of fireworks being shot off. We will still visit this campground, but probably not on the 4th anymore.

The weather was perfect the days we were there, I always love the gradual slope into the water, nice breeze, beach was nice to walk upon, comfortable atmosphere, pleasant staff who were attentive to their duties. Parking and tent spaces were good size.

To reserve a spot was a nightmare, if I wouldn't of had a gold card the price would of been terrible . You offer nothing but a bath room for what you charge, no running water or power

Nice little campground with both open and slightly wooded sites.

Loved the fact that our stay was during the off season and we had the whole place to ourselves. We were in site 11 and while it is a huge site, it is slopped a fairly good amount towards the back. Not a problem for us since we have a smaller RV and could park sideways to make leveling easier.

We/ve stayed at this campground for more than 20 years and came back after a pause of about 6 years. Some improvements were evident. Nice rest rooms have been installed. The location is remote and quiet, which lends itself to creepy drive throughs by local trollers. We were reluctant to leave our site alone to venture out while we were the only campers. We talked with rangers and they were pleasant and helpful. This is a good campsite and we will return.

Lonely campground with shady neighbors in the area nearby. We have come to this lovely setting for over 20 years and loved it's location and low key atmosphere. This time we were the only occupants and didn't dare leave our site with gear exposed due to the suspicious guy who trolled through the campground several times a day. I talked to him and he was very suspicious. Too bad, but these are the times we live in. Great campground and location but it has become a bad neighborhood.

This was a lovely site with a small number of sites. The water was low so it was a little hard to launch the kayaks. The outhouses were clean but the smell seemed to linger around the campground. We will definitely go there again though. The view is beautiful!

Only ate and slept at the campground. There was neat little trails to explore. Rude RV campers started a generator at 3:30am. They shut it off after I yelled at them. Great bird watching place! Water was up, shallow cove with lots of sandbars.
