About Hawk Creek Campground

Hawk Creek Campground is tucked back from the lake on Hawk Creek. The campground is popular, but small enough to feel private and secluded. A small waterfall adds ambiance to this beautiful and unique campground. Hawk Creek is close to Fort Spokane Visitor Center, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle. A courtesy dock provides access to Lake Roosevelt.

What Guests Are Saying

Hawk Creek Campground offers a picturesque setting with beautiful waterfalls, ample shade, and opportunities for kayaking and fishing, making it a great destination for nature lovers. However, some visitors experienced issues with noise from partying crowds, narrow access roads, and sanitation concerns, particularly with the restrooms. Perfect quaint little spot tucked away in a beautiful spot of Lake Roosevelt. Beautiful waterfall right at the campground. Make sure to not forget your bug spray.

The bathrooms are disgusting (when wind blows certain directions you get heavy out house smell)with no lights at night so bring a headlamp. Other than that we didn’t feel unsafe and none of our things were touched while not at camp like some other reviewers mention. If you need services, this is not the campground for you with nearest store about 15 minutes away or city (Davenport) being about 40 mins away. I don’t know that we will be back here soon due to the bathroom situation being less than ideal (last day was warm and it smelled so bad that she threw up). If it weren’t for the beautiful waterfall and scenery, this would be a 2 star review.
