A comfortable campground with sites large enough that you can spread multiple tents out with great views. If you are a birder, this is the place for you with a variety of wildlife sightings. My group was the only group there for the three nights we camped and we all had cell service. The only issue we had is that the wasps were horrible during our stay. Anytime you had food out or were trying to cook, you got swarmed. Two of us got stung so when it’s peak wasp season, be wary during the day.

Beautiful location, nice campsites. Very few people. Unfortunately, the people who were there before us didn't want to walk to the vault toilet and used the "behind the tree" method. Yuck. The campground map shows a water faucet in the middle of the campground but I did not see it anywhere.

Site #3; direct wind from the vault toilet. No afternoon shade. Locals using the campground and beach area as a "day-use" site. This made our stay difficult to enjoy; even leaving the campground was difficult since the day-use vehicles were blocking the roadway.

Beautiful peaceful campground. A little bit of road noise from the highway across the river but not excessive. Vault toilet was clean. We were there pretty much alone for 2 nights. Will be back! Good T-Mobile service.

Make sure you stop at the wood guy on your way in! He’s on the right side of the freeway on your way there and has great dry wood for very good pricing!

    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
