Marcus Island Campground offers a stunning and peaceful location right on the water, perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet getaway. The campground is well-maintained, with clean facilities and beautiful lakefront sites, ideal for RVs and some tent camping. Absolutely amazing campsite. Quiet, close to water and small town of Marcus. Lot's of recreational options close by.

I had a great campsite next to the lake. It was hard to find since the campground does not provide signage. A map at the entrance kiosk would be helpful as well as notifying campers that there are no spigots for water.

Marcus Is Campground has about 20 sites, some quite private. Our group had 3 sites (17-19) at the south end, water on both sides, easy access to lake, beautiful views of surrounding landscapes. Toilets were fine and well stocked with paper, garbage picked up daily. No potable water however. There is hiking in the area and Kettle Falls is 5 miles away for shopping. Highly recommend this Campground.

The good: trees and nature, lovely place, bathroom clean
The bad: the beach is dangerous too many rocks and deep, sites with no privacy it would be better to have a RV zone and tent only zone, our neighbors turn on the generator all day

I was the only camper in the campground, which helped make it more enjoyable for me. Otherwise, the facility was clean with some very nicely positioned campsites that provided great views. Some of the sites were tightly spaced without vegetation to provide privacy, but overall the layout was good.

Mid April, the water is very low. Take in to consideration if planning to fish. Very quiet and close enough to town if you need anything.

Some spots are really close but no closer than at home. We were lucky enough to have great neighbors. The campground is beautiful and as always kept very clean. The handicapped spots are close to the restroom and had enough room to easily get around. Great mini vacation! We will be back there!

Amazing time as always. So beautiful out there. Friendly park rangers. Well kept bathrooms which is very important with no running water. Love it out there

Nicely spaced apart sites. Level, shade from tall pines, quiet and not too far off the main road.
