This was our first experience at Kettle Falls.
We very much dislike the rule of having to make reservations ahead of time because we have no way of knowing about the sites. The site we chose was noisy and hard to park in. There were better sites available but we were stuck with the advance reservation site. There was no camp host or Park Service staff to help us. Just a bad experience.

Beautiful campground. Wonderful wooded area. Spots are nicely spaced apart. Lake Roosevelt is lovely and affords many water activities such as boating, swimming and kayaking. There's a grocery nearby in the town of Kettle Falls for supplies. The only thing lacking is showers. Restrooms were clean and convenient. We were tenting and the camping is dry. No rv hook ups or water hook ups, but water spigots were available.
We had a great trip.

We love camping in the KF Campground. It is so peaceful looking out over lake Roosevelt and watching the boats or just reading a book. We had a great time.

Gave it four stars because we were there off season and had the place to ourselves, right on the river. If the campground was full, it would probably have been a very different experience as the sites were very close together, with very little separation. Our site, #10, wasn’t deep enough for our 19’ trailer and truck…many sites were quite short.
Bathrooms were clean.

Started off a bit rough. Online reservations not user friendly then pull-through sites very small. However, we called the 509 number and were able to switch spaces, get a space across the road for our camping companion. Then a GREAT experience from there. Beautiful spot near the lake/river!

The campground was quiet and clean. The trail we hiked through the park was excellent. We had great weather for 3 days before the smoke blew in on the day we left.

I would have given an excellent, but the first 5 days we were in site 40 downwind from the vault toilets. Avoid 40 at all costs - the view of the lake is not worth it! After that we moved to site 68, much better! Excellent campground for kayaking, biking and walking. Convenient to the boat launch and close to Kettle Falls for necessities. We will definitely return!
