This campground has a lot of potential if they would put a little effort into it. Great location and pretty views, but access to the water is difficult and there isn’t a great place for younger kids to swim.
The sites themselves are nice sized, but they have made the concrete parking pass too short for many trailers, RVs or 5th wheels. These pads really could use a refresh as could the roads themselves.

This is a stunning campground. The river, trails and lots of family history makes the perfect spot for us.

Kettle falls itself was a very nice and adequate campground. We managed to get 2 nights on a beautiful along the
Columbia river campsite. Unfortunately, a fifth wheel camper parked himself right next us 20 feet away
and turned on his construction site generator and ran it up to 1 minute before 10PM and restarted it at 8AM.
Needless to say we did not stay to find out if he ran it all day, I assume he did because we cut our stay
off and left after one day. I don't understand why people who need all of big city pollution need to carry
it with them to the great outdoors when my reason for going there is to get a little peace and quiet.

This is a mostly RV campground. Noisy with generators and noise from a local sawmill graveyard shift. Beautiful River and beautiful place.
