No swimming area for children, and a ton of mosquitoes! We ended up leaving because of the lack of swim area for our children.

The campground has little shade. The space for our small 21 foot travel trailer was said to fit a 25 foot trailer, but it was not going to fit, period. (truck driver with 10 years of semi-truck experience and years of travel trailer use.)
Ended up at an alternative campsite. Lots of noise until 2 am. Instead of a 5 day stay, we left the next morning. We found a nice boondocking spot up toward Gillette Lake.

Beautiful views, nice clean bathrooms, HORRIBLE mosquito problem (swarmed us as soon as we arrived at 1pm on an 85 degree day), and the river/lake does not have easy access like we thought it would. Very steep embankment straight down to the water. Really scary with little kids. Bradbury day use area is only a 15 minute drive though and saved the trip! In/near Kettle Falls, Sandy’s was a fun lunch/ice cream spot, and the coffee shop at the health food store was super good! We still had a really fun time! Just have accurate expectations and bring the Deet :)

When we arrived somebody had illegally parked in our camping spot. Both the camp host and the ranger immediately responded, couldn't find the cars owner and eventually we were put into another spot that was also on the waterfront. Nice job guys!

First visit at this campsite. It was clean and well maintained. The sites are very small and very close to each other. We had a pull through spot. Our trailer is only 28ft but it was very tight.. and trying to maneuver wasn’t easy due to trees in the spot. If I didn’t have someone watching me I wouldn’t have seen the trees and would have damaged my truck and trailer. Lake Roosevelt itself is beautiful. I would stay here again but hope that there is a larger spot.

One of the bathrooms was very nice and clean but the others were covered in bugs and pretty gross.
