We stayed in Loop B, site 35 a pull through site. The entrance is shared with the site next to it, but we were not close! A large rig would have difficulty pulling through, but ours was right at 27’. Pull thru pad has a slight slope to the right side. Large campsite and even though the road is on the other side of the site, the noise is almost non-exsistent. We would definitely pick this site again.

Lovely campsite. We were in Loop C really close to the restroom but still had very decent privacy. Very close to Longmire Museum and Henry Jackson Visitor Center. The site was generally quiet but sometimes, even after quiet hours, group laughter can be heard from a few sites away, though it didn't really bother us because we were exhausted from our day's adventures. The bear box was a great commodity to stash our food away so we didn't have to worry about our food. Restrooms were well-kept and stocked with toilet paper and paper towel. The water is cold though so bring facial wipes if you don't like washing your face with cold water. The ranger volunteers were very friendly and gave us a couple recommendations. They walk around the campsite to check on things but didn't bother anyone unless they needed to. We would stay again!

Great basecamp for a visit to Mt Rainier--easy access to Longmire and Paradise and mayn trailheads. Campsites on A Loop are quite close together. Look for sites with more space and foliage in between on other loops.

Mount Rainier is a wonderful place to visit. Lots of hikes and beautiful scenery. Unfortunately, when anything needs repair, it is a long time coming. The RV dump station at Cougar Rock Campground is on its 2nd year of being nonoperational. There were no operational comfort stations (rest/washrooms) in loop B. The path from Loop B to the Loop C comfort station is blocked by downfall and you have to encroach into someone else's campsite to go to the bathroom. Park Rangers, get these things fixed!
