What Guests Are Saying
Cougar Rock Campground offers spacious, clean sites with good privacy and easy access to Mount Rainier trails, making it an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts. The bathrooms are well-maintained, although some reviewers noted a lack of warm water and soap. Challenges include difficult campsite reservations and occasional issues with nearby campers, but the overall experience is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.

Overall Campground was good, quiet. Our tent site B24 was a little small and not much space. We had two very small tents and felt like we were right up against the fire pit and very close to the narrow road way. Our site was suppose to be good for 6 ppl but it’s more comfortable for 2-3 ppl max

lots of trees and most campsites have share, clean bathrooms, no showers, not far from Paradise are where they have breakfast and lunch there, also not far from Longmire, with restaurant at the INN, you can get Ice there.

Really enjoyed the ranger program, the kindness of the lady helping us with the reservations, our shady spot, and the clean bathrooms. Thank you!

Great experience in camping at a first come spot on loop A. The park ranger was friendly. The campground was busy yet quiet. Overall, great experience!

Excellent campsite. We had a great time there. The only downside I need to say - and please consider it - was the toilet situation! That was horrible.
No toilet paper. Only two sinks and one of them was not working at all and they were very dirty. Please, do something about it.
