The campground is clean and well maintained. It's an "old-school" kind of campground in that it has very few hook ups or bathrooms. The bathrooms that are there are just simple, clean outhouses. There is lots of walking out by Rimrock Lake. It's worth noting that Fighter jets come through that valley sometimes on training runs. It's exciting and I like it. You can forage for wood in the campground and currently have fires in the fire pits. There is a small general store at the private campground next-door. Also, the possibility of Using their dump station. Collin the camp host is nice and very helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Indian Creek Campground. Our site was spacious and private. The camp host came by to greet us. We walked out to the dry lake bed several times, the water was too far away to walk to, we weren't expecting that, but it was okay. We were treated to a fly-over by an awesome fighter jet!! Unexpected thrill for sure!

It was a place to stop for the night, but not that exciting. It is mostly pretty open between sites with little actual privacy. This is probably good for large families with room for a lot of kids to run around. The parking aprons are deteriorated, and the whole place seems pretty old school and run down with tiny wooden bathrooms. The main drawback is that it's way too close to Highway 12 and the traffic noise is very loud far into the night. I also didn't realize that Rimrock Lake is a reservoir that is very low in the fall; it was about 1/4 mile walk out across a gravel and mud flat to the actual water! The camp host was a nice guy who was helpful and seemed to be trying to hold the whole thing together.

This is a great campground. It is tree covered and within walking distance of Rimrock Lake and Indian Creek. I was there during the week, and it was nice and quiet. The only downside is the lack of potable water, so bring what you need.

The campground seemed very rundown. The picnic table at our site was a total joke, it is rotten wood and growing vegetation on it, the legs are uneven, it is basically gross and unusable! The tent site is super rocky and full of roots, it is not even an even space to put the tent on. Very disappointing.
There were two dogs constantly roaming around the campground and getting into people's stuff. The camp host said it is from the neighbor house and the dogs do that all the time. That's unacceptable really. It's not safe to have unleased dogs going around, during the day time and also at night. If the camp host cannot stop that, maybe someone else needs to be the camp host.
The bathrooms at this campground are also very gross and not well kept. We won't be going back to this campground anymore.

Nice campground. Toilets old outhouses..in immediate need of new facilities. This is a large busy campground that deserves better!
