What Guests Are Saying
Indian Creek Campground offers a beautiful setting with large, shaded sites and friendly, accommodating hosts. Many visitors appreciate the campground's cleanliness, access to nearby lakes, and the opportunity for family activities. We have been coming to this campground for the past 4 years with no issues. This year we went and there was a new host. We went from 6/30 and 7/2 at campground 25 and 26. As soon as we got there the host had all these issues. He complained about how we had parked. And Instead of helping us like previous hosts have. He threatened us with a ticket if we didn’t move a car. Then he has an issue with how many people were on the campground. Because one ofthe campground had more then 8 people. There were. 6 adults and the rest were kids in one site. Then he would not allow the kids on their bikes. Wether there was an adult with them or not. My husband was with them and he came to tell him that they could not be out on the road. Because to many cars we’re passing by. And threatened us with well I can start counting heads if you have an issue with me telling you that the kids can not be on their bikes. Yet there were many other kids on the other side of the campground riding bikes without adult supervision and many sites had more then the 8 people per site rule. Site 17 and the site next to it had tons of people. And many other sites as well. It’s so sad that this year everyone in my party was stressed out about making sure we didn’t do anything that could upset the host. Very bad service and definitely not welcoming this years campground trip. We go to camp to relax and get away from everyday like. But this was a super atreguo trip due to the host.

Stayed at camp 8, we used a 12ppl tent 20x10 ft and it had more then enough room, we had lots of shade, private water spigot towards the back. We set up a 10x10 canopy kitchen. Site 8 is on a corner surrounded by young 10ft trees that minimize sound. We had no visible neighbors except for the front and our truck blocked most of it. Perfect for privacy. The bathroom is down 100ft and within sight for parents traveling with kids. Lots of places for hammocks. Camp host drives around frequently and sells wood for 8dls. Our favorite site on the grounds.

Loved this campground! Large private site with a peek-a-boo view through the trees of the lake. No hook ups but we knew what we signed up for! Very quiet most of the stay during the week, more coming and goings on the weekend of course. Even with more campers on the weekend we still felt secluded enough to enjoy our stay. The campgrounds we saw near this one were crowded, cramped spots and sooooo many people! We were so happy we chose Indian Creek rather than one of those CG's!
Camp host was great! Did a great job trying to make sure campers were following the rules and helping out whenever he was needed. We were camped right next to him so we were able to see how well he did as a camp host first hand! We would definitely stay here again!

After arriving and getting parked the camp host camp over and checked us off the list, introduced himself, and chatted for a bit. He was very friendly and kept the campground and pit toilets very clean. Most of the campsites had some distance between so you didn't feel like you were crammed in like sardines. There were several trails leading both to Rimrock Lake and over to Silver Beach Resort (which includes a little camp store and diner). There are elk nearby and if you are quet might get a sight of. Plenty of wood for fires. At first glance our spot (#19) looked to be smaller than listed, but we fit in it without issue. We have a Chevy 2500 short bed with a 30 foot trailer with a single slide and didn't have any trouble fitting. All-in-all I would say this was a very clean and fairly quiet spot to camp.

Great waterside sites. Some sites have smaller parking pads, so check before you book. Lots of highway noise closer to the road, less at the lakeside. The water was high end of May, so I could slide my kayak into the water from my campsite. Rimrock is a great kayaking place if the wind is not up. There is a walking path to the small resort next door. It was a louder over the weekend, but very quiet on a weekday. In part because school is still in session until later in June.
