La Wis Wis Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, private sites, great access to hiking trails, and the nearby Ohanapecosh River, making it ideal for nature lovers. While some guests noted issues with maintenance, lack of potable water, and crowded conditions, many appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the overall charm of the campground. This campground was a great location. We were able to go down to Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Rainier easily. The sites weren't huge but they weren't super small. Our large tent was able to fit easily and if campfires were allowed we could of had one and not compromised our tent. Bathrooms we rustic but that is to be expected. Loved the camp hosts, very friendly and helpful. There was kids riding bikes around and running and playing in the trees, which we always love to see. The one way roads make it very kid friendly. Packwood is just a couple miles down the road if you need ice or anything. I would stay here again.

Do not make a reservation in the H loop unless you have a large RV. Not a good tent camping experience

Beautiful rainforest campground for small rigs and tenters. We had an encroaching issue with our reserved spot making it impossible to utilize what we paid for. The camp hosts were helpful, friendly and did what they could within their power. Very clean campground, well cared for. The rivers are gorgeous and help drown out the traffic noise. Would suggest lines to delineate parking areas and prevent very large units from monopolizing the RV spots in loop H. Great stay, highly recommended.

Loved this campground! Pretty wide variety of sites. We got lucky choosing C14. If you book both C13 and C14 you'll feel totally isolated. Very nice people run the campground and couldn't ask for much more.
