What Guests Are Saying
La Wis Wis Campground offers a beautiful setting with spacious, private sites, great access to hiking trails, and the nearby Ohanapecosh River, making it ideal for nature lovers. While some guests noted issues with maintenance, lack of potable water, and crowded conditions, many appreciated the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the overall charm of the campground. The location near Mt. Rainier and the peaceful atmosphere during weekdays were also frequently highlighted as positive aspects of the experience.

My daughter and I had an excellent 4 days and 3 nights in the H loop at La Wis Wis. Your camp hosts (I don't know their names) were very helpful, very considerate. The only negative is the lack of potable water in H loop. We had to drive a ways to another part of the campground for water. Thanks!

We left 2 days early because of the bathroom situation. The toilet building in Loop A was shut down so they had a bunch of port-a-potties there. Nice BUT they were all filled TO THE TOP with human waste! ALL of them! Who knows when they were emptied last! Gross! I was going to request a refund but got busy with work...

We enjoyed our stay! Campsite was clean and camp host was friendly. We had fun cooling off at the Blue Hole. This campground is a great base for exploring Mt. Rainier.

The campground itself was lovely, as always. However, the outhouses at this desperately need an overhaul. Either that, or they are being very poorly maintained.
